Ok. It’s been a few months, rl is slowing down a little bit…I thought I’d try this thing again. I’m renting a small shop on the Juicy sim for 300L a week, 2 week minimum. I have now paid 600L for this little shop, and I am aiming merely at breaking even. lol All items are being sold at 100L or less with only 1 new release at the moment.

Color Me Chaos is currently closed. At this time, my husband (Hadyn Bellic) and myself are both extremely busy IRL and haven’t had any free moments to build/create anything new in a number of months. We are hoping to reopen in the future with new stuff to inject into SL, but for now, that is all tentative.
If you happen to see something in word we created, please feel free to contact me, Ona Stenvaag, if you are interested in purchasing a copy for yourself.
WE CURRENTLY HAVE NOTHING FOR SALE IN WORLD. If you see one of our items for sale, please report it to us as it is most probably not a legitimate item (read:copybotted/stolen). At this time, there are precious few items of ours that are trans out there.

Alas, yes. Color Me Chaos is closing it’s doors for an indefinite amount of time. I know what you’re thinking.

Anywho, for those of you who are familiar with us, or for those of you who have never heard of us before:

For the next 24 hours…give or take I don’t know how many hours…almost everything in our store is 100L and under. There are a few things that are above that, simply because I couldn’t find it in myself to sell my 5 pack of jester outfits for 100L. So instead those are 350, and you get all 4 PLUS the bonus one you can’t buy separately.
Last note, ANYTHING CREATED BY HADYN BELLIC has not been marked down YET. As it is my deary is out of the house at the moment and will not return till closer to 7pm slt and which time he will log in and mark what he wants down to what prices he chooses. Since he makes some darn cool furniture and houses, might want to swing by and check it out later as you might get some sweet, kicken deals…or something like that.

Yo Ho Ho, a Pirate’s life for me!
More hunt goodness! The Pirate’s Gold Dubloon Hunt is running until the 22nd of this month,and as you may have guessed, it’s pirate themed. Since we’re a little bit silly, and let’s face it, the whole reason it’s awesome is that we get to pretend to be pirates, we didn’t make any bones about out the fact we’re fake buccaneers. So at Color Me Chaos, you get a cardboard ship to hang off your shoulders, a newspaper pirate hat, a cardboard sword to stick through the included belt, and a notebook paper jolly roger, proudly flying from a wrapping paper tube. Arr!
Also, while the Macabre Hunt is technically over, due to our failure to force I<3SL to show our posts, we’ve left the apples out for you a little longer. In them, you get the above outfit with skin and bloody gloves, plus a hair (not pictured) for ladies, a drowned sailor outfit for gents, and a set of living room furniture with a regular buttload of sits embedded in it. For today only you can pick up an embarrassment of riches at Color Me Chaos, with only the effort of lookin’ about for a pair of little red apples. This year’s Macabre Hunt has the theme of Twisted Fairytales, and ends today, so if you want stuff now’s the time!
The fairytale we went with was the story of Lorelei, which you can read various versions of here, or have summed up by me in rather less poetic terms. My synapses: A very pretty girl flings herself into the river over rejection by the man she loves, becomes a siren and causes quite a lot of ships to crash onto the rocks by means of sad songs. The end. Er, I told you my explanation wouldn’t be very poetic. Onward to pictures!

Ladies are makin’ out like bandits with shirt and scripted to flow like water skirt on all layers, skin, two hairs (one of which, again, has the flowing water effect), and bloody gloves. The last of which, I suppose, is unisex. Not like gents can’t have blood up to their elbows, too.

My inventory haaaaates me. I’ve tried to be nice and keep it organized but after 2.5 years in SL…well…if you’ve been around longer than 6 months, you know what I’m saying. It’s just overwhelming! With that in mind, I come to you for help. After WEEKS of going through everything folder by folder (and I’m STILL not done) I have created a ‘get rid of’ folder. These are all items that are trans/no copy and baby, THEY GOTTA GO! I have sectioned off a portion of the shop basement for these little pretties and smacked prices on them that are most definitely less than what I paid for them. Ok well…most PROBABLY less. You have to give me a little wiggle room since some of this stuff I purchased years ago and remembering how much I paid for them is like asking me what all 50 state capitals are.

So I come to you for help. I really need you to come by in your free time and venture down to the shop basement and take a peek at what I’m trying to get rid of. If you like it, snag it. Paragon
par⋅a⋅gon: a model or pattern of excellence or of a particular excellence.
No one knows, exactly, who the Paragon are. Their presence was a casual encroachment on the normal everyday scene. So subtle were they, that not until well into their placement did they even happen to catch a curious glance from a passerby. The only thing that is for certain, is that since their appearance, the amount of news coverage of the daily trauma’s that plague our society had slowly dwindled. This, of course, could be seen as a good thing. The streets were safer, crime was down, missing children reports were fewer and indeed, when there was one, within 2 hours the child had been returned to their family and the perpetrator caught. Yes, things are definately better since they’re arrival.
But I question things. I’m not always one to play devil’s advocate, but isn’t it odd that a force so ‘great’ in intentions, would be so quiet in their appearance? Who are these ‘Paragon’s'? Where have they come from? Are they a branch of the government or something else? Though they make no great show of themselves, they definitely don’t seek to remain unnoticed as well. Accounts of their actions are similar. They are fast, nimble, experienced in almost all forms of combat. They are resourceful, silent in movement, and calculating to a terrifying degree. When two are seen together, they seem to work as one without a need to communicate. At least, not in a way we ‘simple folk’ can perceive. All attempts to communicate with them have resulted in the same. A kind smile, a nod, and a simple answer of “We are the Paragon. We are here to help.”
My mind begins to wonder…are they even…human?

Buh-bye, Quahog!
We’ve officially moved! With the end of the Make Him Over hunt, Color Me Chaos has officially evacuated our Quahog location and is now fully operational at the Epic Sanctuary location. The Through the Looking Glass hunt is still on till the 4th, so I have moved the mirror to the new store. It’s pretty hard to miss, you can see it from the door and everything.
